Congratulations! You are just a few steps away from making money with your application! Mdotm is perfectly integrated with Adwhirl.

How to setup your iPhone application using the Adwhirl 2.x SDK

  1. Add your application on MdotM.
    For each application you monetize with MdotM, we generate an MdotM API Key which you can find in your applications list:
  2. Register on AdWhirl.
    Add your application on Adwhirl by putting in the MdotM API Key provided in the previous step:

  3. Download the AdWhirl 2.x SDK from Google Code.
    In this distribution there is a README file describing how to integrate all other SDKs into your iPhone application. Follow the instructions the SDK, adding SDK libraries. MdotM has no SDK -- the adapter inside the SDK is it, and there is no need to specify any MdotM key in the code.
  4. Set your ad network credentials, rotation weights and rollover priorities on Adwhirl.com.
  5. Mdotm sends your payments via PayPal ($25.00 min) or wire ($1,000 min for ACH direct and $5,000 min for international)

  1. What commission does MdotM take on advertising?
    2. MdotM takes a 20 to 40 percent commission on pay-per-click and pay-for-performance advertising served. Lower commissions are taken on higher volume of inventory.
  2. Which ad mediation layer do you recommend?
    3. We recommend the ad mediation layer that gives you the most transparency and control. At this time, we do not have solid recommendations, so we encourage you to experiment to discover who this is for you.
  3. Which ad mediation layer should we use to get paid the most by MdotM?
    4. There is no difference between the ad mediation layers as far as payment. With Adwhirl/Admob, you are paid by MdotM and we have minimum payment requirements of $25.00 via Paypal and $1,000.00 for ACH direct (domestic) and $5,000 (international).
  4. How much activity do you have on MdotM right now?
    5. As of November 2010, MdotM serves over 2B impressions per month worldwide.
  5. What fill rate does MdotM you have?
    6. MdotM can have 100% fill rates in all the countries we operate in upon request. Otherwise, our current policy has fill rates at 50-60% for most applications to ensure campaign variety.
